Kingfisher Ecolodge is located in the Cachiwañuska community, in Puerto MisahuallĂ, one of the most authentic gateways to the Ecuadorian Amazon. Surrounded by tropical rainforest and close to the Napo River, its privileged setting allows guests to fully immerse themselves in nature, wildlife, and breathtaking scenery. From here, travelers can easily explore jungle trails, river adventures, and indigenous communities, enjoying a truly genuine and enriching Amazon experience.

HOW TO GET TO KINGFISHER ECOLODGE
To reach KingFisher EcoLodge, it is recommended to take a public bus from the city of Quito, departing from the Quitumbe Bus Terminal (located in the south of Quito), an important interprovincial transportation hub, and travel to the Tena Bus Terminal in Napo Province, in the Amazon region.
There are two alternative overland routes:

First route (shorter): Travel via Papallacta – Baeza to reach Tena.
(The journey takes approximately 5–6 hours.) -
Second route (longer): Travel via Latacunga – Baños – Puyo.
(This route takes approximately 8–9 hours.)
Both routes end in Tena.
From Tena, take a taxi for an additional 35-minute drive to KingFisher EcoLodge.
The taxi fare is USD $20 for 1 to 4 passengers.
Optional: Private transportation can also be arranged from anywhere in Ecuador, including connections from Mariscal Sucre International Airport (Quito).
