KingFisher EcoLodge is a rural countryside lodge. It offers basic, self-sufficient services, including hot and cold showers with shared bathrooms. Each room has three spacious and comfortable beds for up to four people: one double bed (queen-size) and two single beds. All beds are equipped with mosquito nets.
The lodge has permanent electricity, Wi-Fi internet, and free private parking for guests. There are eight beautiful viewpoints with panoramic views of the Napo River in its natural splendor, gardens with tropical plants and flowers, walking trails to observe bird and monkey species, a special garden with ephemeral plants and flowers for observing hummingbirds, an ethnobotanical garden with mixed plant species, a Tarzan-style swing for adults and children, and a private river area for swimming with a white-sand beach.

WHAT TO BRING FOR YOUR STAY AT KINGFISHER ECOLODGE:

• Lightweight, quick-drying clothing; long pants and long-sleeved shirts (cotton), preferably in dark colors (camouflage).

• Trekking shoes and sturdy, water-resistant sandals.

• Cap or hat, if preferred.

• Sunglasses with 100% UV protection.

• Small personal backpack.

• Mosquito and insect repellent with a high concentration of DEET (15%–45%) or picaridin (around 20%).

• Rechargeable LED headlamp with a power of 180–300 lumens.

• Personal water bottle or refillable bottle to have potable water at all times.

• High-SPF sunscreen (SPF 50 or higher), water- and sweat-resistant.

• Bridge camera with powerful zoom for photography, or a high-end smartphone.

• Binoculars with 8x or 10x magnification and a 42 mm objective lens (8x42 or 10x42).

• Passport or national ID card.

• Rain jacket, umbrella, and plastic bags.

RULES OF CONDUCT DURING YOUR STAY AT KINGFISHER ECOLODGE:

• Do not collect plant or animal species.

• Do not litter or damage infrastructure or materials in the area.

• Maintain low noise levels and respectful behavior in the visiting and overnight areas.

• Do not leave the trails, do not leave the group, do not wander far from the lodge, do not trust strangers, and do not accept gifts, drinks, or food. Always consult KingFisher EcoLodge staff before taking any action.

• Comply with biosecurity measures.

• Take care of your pet and collect its waste.

• Smoking and drinking alcohol are not allowed inside the lodge rooms.
